Hi! I’m Melissa.

I love parties. I love going to parties, talking about parties, and especially, planning parties.

I’ve been passionate about parties for as long as I can remember. I used to try and plan anniversary parties for my parents when I was 8 and had no money; we were also camping at the time. I would rally up our ‘neighbours’ to bring food and contribute to a gift.

Years later, I have two kids of my own, a little bit more of a budget, and a guaranteed two birthday parties to host every year. And then there are dinners with friends, last minute family summer BBQs, and all the holidays! There are so many reasons to have a party.

I owe my love of parties and planning to my mom, who was the party queen. She was relentless when it came to hunting down the EXACT right colour napkin or straw to go with a theme. When she passed away in 2019 she left me with so many wonderful memories (and an insane amount of vases and candy jars!).
